Design Engagement Process

1. Initial Inquiry

You reach out to Reis Daniel via our website, email, or referral to share a few basics about

your home, location, and timing.

2. Fit & Requirements Overview

We respond with a brief overview of how we work, typical project requirements, and an outline

of investment levels. You confirm that our structure aligns with your expectations.

3. Design Interview

Once we confirm alignment, you schedule a design interview. This conversation focuses on how

you live, your goals for the home, timeline, and budget. We walk you through our process and

answer initial questions.

4. Site Visit & Information Gathering (as needed)

For local projects or when helpful, we schedule a site visit to understand existing conditions,

take preliminary notes, and discuss any architectural or construction needs.

5. Proposal & Contract

Following the interview (and site visit, if applicable), we prepare a tailored proposal. This

includes scope of work, design phases, fee structure, estimated timeline, and key terms. You

receive this as a written contract for review.

6. Review, Questions & Adjustments

You review the proposal and contract. We address questions, clarify scope, and make any minor

adjustments needed to align with your priorities.

7. Signature & Initial Payment

Once everything feels right, you sign the contract and submit the initial payment or retainer.

Your project is officially on our schedule.

8. Kickoff & Next Steps

We confirm your kickoff date and outline next steps, which typically include detailed site

measurements, establishing a weekly check-in rhythm, and confirming primary decision-makers and

communication channels.
